Point System for Hoosier Rodeo Series 2011
Contestants must have a valid 2011 IPRA Card for points to count toward the Hoosier Finals and the IFR.
10 points will be awarded for each rodeo simply for Entering & Competing.
1st Place: 10 Points
2nd Place: 8 Points
3rd Place: 6 Points
4th Place: 4 Points
5th Place: 3 Points
6th Place: 2 Points
"It is with sickening regret that I have to announce that the Hoosier Series Finals will not take place this year. Due to the horrific tragedy at the IN State Fair, the IN Fair Commission can not honor our contract. Unfortunately, I do not have the resources to come up with that kind of Added Money on short notice. Thus we are left with only one choice, to award the trophy spurs to the Contestant with the most points in each event. The good news is we are already working on some changes for the Series for next year and look forward to sharing those details as they are completed. I would like to thank The Lord for sparing us from the Fair tragedy because 48 hours later & it would have been all of us on that stage & in the arena which would have been set up right in front of the stage. May we all continue to keep those who lost loved ones that day in our prayers."
